PepperTap App – Grocery Shopping At Your Finger Tips
I don’t know about you, but I am not a big fan of grocery shopping! Getting out of the house and to the grocery shop is a tedious task and then upon reaching there, browsing for your list of products whilst people blocking your way is simply annoying! Let’s not forget the part where you have to carry those heavy bags back home. However, it is a necessary evil and you can’t escape it. Hence, I am always on search for something that would make it an enjoyable experience.
Recently, while I was visiting my parents in Pune, I came across this full front page advertisement for PepperTap – Online Grocery Shop in the newspaper and decided to give it a go!

My Review On PepperTap:
I downloaded the mobile application on my Android phone to order some groceries right away! I loved the simple & user friendly interface of the mobile application. The first page shows different categories like Popular, Fruits & Veggies, Food & Drink, Breakfast & Dairy, etc. On selecting a category, product from the same a listed on the screen with sub categories displayed on the top.
The product listing is easy & convenient to add to the shopping bag. You can increase or decrease the quantity with a simple + or – sign. There is also a bar at the bottom which displays the total amount of the products you’ve picked so far. Most of them items had a huge discount on them and were priced lower than the local market prices. However, I failed to find few of the stuffs I was looking for.
PepperTap offers free delivery over Rs. 250 or Rs. 50 shipping charges below that. They accept payment via cards, soxedo coupons & they also offer COD. I decided to go with COD since this was my first order with them. The best part was that I could choose a time slot where I would want my stuffs to be delivered. This is best for working women like me who isn’t usually at home during the day.
For this order, I decided to keep it for afternoon between 02 PM to 4 PM. On confirmation of the order, I immediately received a text message on my registered mobile number. The delivery boy came with my order at 2.30 PM. I was expecting them to be in some sort of uniforms but they weren’t in any. Hesitantly, I picked up my order and paid the amount. The veggies and fruits looked fresh and were neatly wrapped in a plastic bag. Rest of the items from my list looked good too.
Overall, I am quite happy with PepperTap and their service. I loved the user friendly interface of their application and also the option to choose convenient time slots for delivery. The products received were fresh & good too. However, I would really like to see more options & variety in their categories. If you’re interested in checking out the app, you can download it for free on the Google Play store or visit their website here.
