My Review on Lakme 9 to 5 Frosties Nail Enamel ‘Purple Frost’:
I am not a ‘bright nail color’ girl and most often, stick with basics. When I purchased the Purple Frost color from the Lakme counter, I wasn’t sure that I would wear it anytime soon. Surprisingly, it’s my second week with it and I absolutely love this color.
Lakme 9 to 5 Frosties Nail Enamel comes in a similar packing as the other nail enamels from the 9 to 5 family. I have never been a fan of their round cap which refuses to give me a grip while application. I also detest the applicator which I find to big for my fingers and doesn’t allow and even & neat application. Oh! BTW, the applicator came off after I applied a single coat.
Purple Frost is a deep purple color infused with rich pigments. The color goes opaque in a single application but I always stick with two coats. The color looks rich & glossy during application but dries to matte finish. The formula is thick & easy to apply but the applicator messes up the application.
The nail email has a sugar- finish texture which feels strong to touch after application but it stars flattening out after the third day. Lakme 9 to 5 Frosties Nail Enamel ‘Purple Frost’ stayed intact on my nails for three days and I noticed minor chipping post that. It has been over a week now and it has refused to leave my nails.
Lakme 9 to 5 Frosties Nail Enamel is priced at INR 200 is availble across all leading Lakme Counters.
