The GM Diet – Day Six
As per the diet, I was supposed to eat unlimited amount of beef & vegetables. I didn’t focus on the word beef and swapped it with chicken. And I did eat to my heart’s content. Result? No weight loss. Not even a single gram. 🙁 So my total weight loss still remains 2.7 kgs in 6 days.
Beef and vegetables. Today you may eat an unlimited amount of beef and vegetables. Eat to your heart’s content.
How it works:
It’s similar to day five, Iron and proteins from beef, Vitamins and fibre from vegetables. By now your system is in a total weight loss inclination. There should be a noticeable difference in the way you look today, compared to day one.
This was the most easiest day so far! Even though could eat meat & vegetables only, there was no restrictions on the quantity. And I guess, I really took the advantage and ate to my hearts content.
Since I am approaching the end of the diet, I decided to keep on eating healthy and adapt to a healthier lifestyle. Hence, I started my day with a cuppa tea and a chicken – vegetable salad. Since I was travelling, I made sure to have a heavy breakfast to avoid any mid meal snacks which you ultimately result into junk food.
I had my lunch after a gap of around 4 hours and I was really starving by then. Since I wasn’t letting anything unhealthy take over me, I stuck with my favorite Chicken Teriyaki Salad from Subway which BTW was yuummmm! Even though my husband opted for KFC, I was so proud to be not tempted by his burger, fries or coke.
My headache came back after almost two days and I couldn’t help but had a cup of tea in the evening to soothe the same. Later at night, I came back home & cooked myself the soup I spoke about yesterday and finished the day. I have grown upto the idea of having something very light like soup or maybe a salad for dinner in the future. I hope I will be able to stick to it.
Since I ate a LOT, after a long time, I didn’t loose any weight! I am disappointed since I am just a day away from my 7 days Gm diet and I still have not achieved my goal. Let’s hope for the best! 🙂
