Incase you missed it, Vellvette Box is now FAB BAG ! Vellvette.com has been around for around 16 months now and they decided to be a happier, shorter and *fab* version of themselves. Will a new name make the bag fabolous ? Lets find out..
My Review :
I am disappointed with my first ever FAB BAG just like the November Vellvette Box. I had a tiny little hope that the December bag, the last bag of the month would surprise me but I was so wrong !
The black bag with neon stars looks stunning and will make a perfect makeup pouch for my handbag. 🙂 I got 3 products and a Bonus sample in my December FAB BAG. Like the Vellvette Bags, Fab Bag also provides a welcome and info cards with all the products. Below are the products I got in my December FAB BAG :
- RUSK W8less Plus Shaping and Control Hairspray – Extra Strong Hold, 22.7 g – Rs. 1,275 for 250 g.
- Origins Anti-ageing Cleanser, 7 ml – No info card
- LA Splash Nail Splash ‘Blue-tastic’, Full Size – 500 for 10 ml.
- Bonus : Anna Andre Nail Enamel Remover, Full Size – Rs. 79 for 30 ml.
I am disappointed with my FAB BAG because, yet again, there is no customization. I think the Vellvette team had stopped listening to feedback and are determined to provide sample as per their wish. Even though I received two full size products in my FAB BAG, they’re not the one’s I would ever pick. LA Splash Nail Splash & Anna Andre Nail Enamel Remover are a waste as I wouldn’t use them. Origins Anti-ageing Cleanser is the only luxury sample in my Fab Bag. RUSK W8less Plus Shaping and Control Hairspray is probably the only sample I would use from my December FAB BAG.
Overall, Fab Bag is definitely not FAB for me. Even though I have seen super luxury brands on their website, I haven’t received any samples from them. The concept of a beauty bag is to try high end brands before spending big on them, isn’t it ? Brands like Anne Andre, MUA, LA Splash, Florelle, etc. definitely doesn’t meet my expectations from a beauty bag.
I had subscribed for 3 months subscription which ends next month. After being disappointed so many time, I wouldn’t subscribe to Fab Bag ever. You can subscribe to the Fab Bag Here.
