  1. Five minutes is all I have to get ready in the morning, and this is my holy grail routine:
    1. I moisturise my face with Lakme Peach Milk moisturiser, it works great for dry sensitive skin like mine!
    2. I darken my eyebrows with kohl using an angled brush. Since my eyebrows are already pretty shaped and arched, all I do is darken them. Next, I tightline my eyes with Lakme Eyeconic kajal. Tightlining i.e. lining the upper waterline of the eye with kajal makes my lashes appear denser and opens up my eyes. I then line my lower lashline with the Eyeconic kajal as well.
    3. Now that my skin has been hydrated with the Peach Milk moisturiser, I apply Lakme CC Cream in light blending strokes onto my face, to even out my skintone, and conceal redness and blemishes.
    4. Next, with my Lakme Absolute Felt-Tip Eyeliner, I line the upper lashline of my eyes. The thin tip of the felt-tip liner enables me to draw feminine flicks and cat-eye styles with precision.
    5. For college I prefer having a light tinted lipcolor, for which I use my Revlon Colorburst Lip-Butter. I own three distinct shades, for different looks- Candy Apple (red), Berry Smoothie (neutral pink) and Raspberry Pie (deep plum/pink).
    6. I coat my eyelashes with Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara which curls my eyelashes and coats them evenly. It really makes my eyes pop, and lasts all day!
    7. To give a matte finish to my face, I pat Lakme Compact Powder in shade Ivory all over my face and neck. It lends a subtle glow to my face.
    8. My final step is to smile at myself in the mirror, before I run out the door. 🙂

  2. I love when it is raining and I keep this in mind while doing my makeup (or as your ques – styling my skin) – you never know when you might feel like dancing in the rain or can end up involuntarily also. 🙂 So, I don’t won’t to be bothered by my makeup messing up all the fun!

Thus, my routine during monsoons is all about-

A good rich moisturiser (I let it sink in for a while), then I go in with an illuminator that has a bit of bronze tint (gives a very innocent beautiful glow), a soft flesh toned cream blush on the cheeks, eyes tight lined with kohl, a sheer lip balm and finished up with a bright smile. Viola! All set to have fun wherever whenever you want. 🙂

That’s how I keep my skin stylish. I ain’t got a perfect skin and nor does my routine lasts forever but monsoons make me happy, that’s all that matters and besides, it is ok if feels good to let my skin breathe for a while.

    Thanks for the opportunity.

    Megha M.

  3. Hi Hina,

Styling my skin is sort of everyday routine, who doesn’t want to look their best every hour of the day?
I devote fifteen minutes to stylize my skin, With BB or CC cream which provide dewy and better coverage and blends like a dream without much fuss. Dust some Translucent powder on my T-zone.
Put on some Peachy-Pink Blush and A soft Peach Lip gloss.
Put on Coats of Mascara and I am good to go.
    Thats looks natural yet glowy.

  4. Styling my skin for me is more about it looking healthy ie free from eruptions/blemishes and to have a healthy glow. It starts from the inside out. Now I know it is a very cliche answer but I have seen its effects on me and can swear by the right consumption of water. Not only does it keep my skin hydrate it also keeps it clear. The moment I relapse and start indulging in colas my skin goes to the dogs.

Being a blogger, I have recently started to test out a couple of skin products. So I ensure that I’m applying a product to my skin daily. This has helped me immensely so far as I found a couple of good ones that suit me.

When I step out, I like to use a BB cream to give me the additional glow and apart from that I use a light coral blush, a coral lippy, some liner and kajal and finish it off with coats of mascara. And that sums up my mantra for styling my skin 🙂

  5. Being a very busy schedule I’ll have very little time to style my skin. So I prefer to take a healthy and nutritious meal and follow a proper yoga and exercise session. I prefer to drink at least 15 glasses of water it helps a lot in glowing skin. I scrub my face once in a week.
For day to day schedule I prefer to use a good face wash after that a good moisturiser.
For make up my regular products for my face is BB cream for the even tone and a bronzer. For eyes I use kajal, eye liner and mascara. For lips I always try for lip gloss or sometime nude shade lipstick. For hands I use good SPF body lotion.
That’s my day to day regime for healthy skin

  7. my style 4 my skin is gud face wash and compact sunscreen gel based 50% thin liner.. nude lipstick……

  8. Hi….Thnx for hosting this really awesome contest!!!! 😀

Now for the answer…How do i style my skin…

First and foremost our skin should have a natural glow which will come only when it is healthy….For that we have to eat a balanced diet…
I try to include fruits in my diet everyday…and i eat a vitamin e tablet before sleeping every alternate night.

Pimples are something that make ur skin look terrible…I use lotus herbals Tea Tree gel on my face to keep acne at bay..N ill have to say it has really proved effective for me..

Every weekend i make a skin mask by grinding a cucumber and adding gulab jal to it…I keep it on my face for 15 mins and then wash it off…This really brings a glow to my face… 🙂

Never..n i mean NEVER sleep with ur makeup on…That will ruin ur skin…I always wash my face after i come back from office and remove all traces of makeup properly.

Now for the things i use before i set out for my office… 😀
I use lakme eyeconic kajal,Maybelline baby lips(berry crush) and garnier bb cream…I keep the makeup minimal for office… 😛

People say eyes are the windows to ur soul..As i sit infront of the laptop for long ours i have developed dark circles…I use fabindia aloe vera under eye gel which has really helped me out …

Well thtz all from my side…. Hope u like my points…. 🙂

  9. I keep myself well hydrated all the time, along with proper meals and exercise. Thats how i keep my skin stylish from the inside..And from the outside, I go for monthly Clean ups, Follow CTM for my sensitive combination skin, weekly diy face masks and use good quality chemical free products for skin care 🙂

  10. How i style my Skin
    1. Always wear a smile
    2. Drink lots of water
    3. Lakme cc cream
    4. Lakme absolute matte lipstick
    5. Lakme eyeconic

that’s all i need to have a natural look.

  11. Styling skin is really an interesting part of life as everyone loves to have flawless fine toned skin. Below are the steps I follow to style my skin (I have normal skin with oily T-zone):

    1. I follow my CTM routine twice a day and never miss it.
    2. I always remove my makeup before sleeping.
    3. I also love applying colorful makeup as it gives me a fresh feel.
    4. Even when I don’t use makeup, I just clean my face with plain cold water to keep it fresh.
    5. I use moisturizing soaps for my body and never skip to apply my favourite moisturizer after bathing.
    6. I use gel based sunscreen for face and cream based one for hands and feet everyday before stepping out.
    7. Top of all I give a good facial to my face every sunday at home itself. I follow the steps in order: cleanse, steam, scrub, pack and followup with a good moisturizer.

So this is how I prefer styling my skin.

  12. My tips for skin styling are:

Rubbing ice cubes on my face or splashing cold water to open up my eyes n to control oiliness .

CTM – This is very important for the reason it makes skin clean fresh n moisturise .
Exfloilation with oatmeal twice a week.

BB/CC cream – I am not someone who cn spend a lot of time on makeup so bb/cc cream are best as it gives mild coverage N even base.
    Dab translucent powder if req.

Color : Last but not the least some color on apples of my cheeks and a bright lipstick to look gorgeous.
Then My lakme Eyeconic Kajal and the eyeconic mascara to boost n define eyes.

Applyin sunscreen lotion on my hands ,neck ,feet to protect sun damage.

And I am ready to Rock .
    Quite simple and quick 🙂

  13. hey!!
-A good eight hour sleep so that my skin looks all fresh with no dark under eye
    -scrubbing – cleansing -toning
-first of all i apply a good moisturiser
-“Lakme CC cream” is what i use as a base to get a even tone but if i m getting ready for a party i use Lakme perfect radiance foundation in shade 01
-“Lakme Eyeconic kajal” is my favourite kajal which i not only use as a kajal but also to tightline since its does not cause any irritation to my eyes.
-when in a mood for eye liner i sometimes use the above mentioned kajal if i want a matte finish otherwise i use my “L’Oreal Super liner carbon gloss”.
    – for mascara i use “Maybelline Volume express colossal waterproof mascara” about 2 coats !
    – i use “Lakme Cheek artist” in Kiss of Rose rose as a blush almost daily it was a gift from my sister in law which i love!
    – for lipstick ‘Maybelline color sensational moisture extreme in Coral Pink”
COMING BACK TO SKIN- i drink lots of water indulge in clean ups once in a month and remove make up thoroughly before going to bed !!

  14. How do i style my skin..!! umm!!
I feel that style of skin lies within its beauty, its glow,& its freshness! basically style lies within you , how you carry yourself, if one wants to look b’ful then she has to feel that she is b’ful! not only from what is apparent but behind that as well!
As I am a college student, and usually i wake up late.:P ( healthy sleep results in a healthy skin :P) and have very less time to get ready!! …
I live in hostel so its very difficult for me to use all kinds of mummy k nuskhe wala things! ..but i wash my face wid a mixture of Besan and Haldi,
then i apply Lakme peach & milk moisturizer but these days its almost impossible to use it ,at my place coz of weather it results into a lot of sweat!! ..
then I apply a little amount of Lakme perfect Radiance cream ! ocassionally i use maybelline BB cream as well!
then if i have to go somewhere out after that, then i apply a very little amount of lakme absolute matteral mousse! which results into a perfect glowing skin which lasts longer!
and ofcourse a stroke a kajal! with either of my 2-3 sticks!
and in case I’ve time and inner feeling of getting ready! then i do apply liner with maybelline Gel liner! and Mascarra! (lakme absoulte one)! and finally my favourite shade of lipstick (mostly matt) or sometimes just a stroke of lip gloss! (all depends on mood and dressing of course) !!
and when i go to bed i never forget to remove all dis! with help of cleanser! and washing my face wid besan and haldi mixture! and in the end i wud love to quote “Michael Tyler, from ‘The Skin You Live In’ ”

“And like flowers in the fields, that make wonderful views, when we stand side-by-side in our wonderful hues..

We all make a beauty so wonderfully true.
We are special and different, and just the same, too!

So whenever you look at your beautiful skin, from your wiggling toes to your giggling grin…

Think how lucky you are that the skin you live in, so beautifully holds the “You” who’s within.”

  15. Pooja Kopargaonkar

Styling your skin is as important as dressing and hair style. Not choosing the right style and products can ruin your look. My skin style depends on what occasion am styling it. For regular looks I prefer bb cream but yes thinking of trying the new cc cream: rose powder. Kohl and lipgloss.

If am styling for a party or say date will add maskara, blusher. Eye shadow and a hot lipstick shade to my regular look.

Also when it comes to styling your skin i only use the best brands as low quality products can be dangerous for skin.

  16. mostly i get ready in 10-15 min.. very impatient i am! 😛 and d way i style my skin is by first creating a flawless n yet breathable base using lakme cc cream, the cc cream just few secs to blend in the skin; than concealing the imperfections with lakme absolute concealer.. one thing i never got out is without enhancing my eyes with the absolute mascara as i have tini eyes 😀 and now comes my love lippies..if i am going for office then my choice is peachy brown like coffee command and if for hot date then obviously hot red lippy like lakme red coat! 🙂

  17. 1) scrub your skin as it gives a natural glow by removing the dead skin and black heads and apply a facepack thereafter
    2) use a light weight tinted moisturiser/bb cream/cc cream
    3) apply a bold line of kajal/kohl and a long lasting lipstick or a moisturizing lip balm
    4) do not forget to moisturize the skin at night

Drink lots of water..”safi” tonic (purifies the blood)for that inner cleansing that’s visible outside..:):)

  18. With my new love: Lakme CC Cream <3

I follow CTM routine. Scrub once a week. My skin is ready to glow with the CC cream!

  19. My instant Skin Stylist tips:

    1) Exfoliate and add moisture; the combination offers immediate plumping that lasts several hours. Even gentle sloughing causes skin to swell slightly, making wrinkles less noticeable. Use a scrub with smooth, spherical beads that polish without causing redness (look for polyethylene at the top of the ingredient list). Follow with a lotion, a peptide that relaxes muscles and temporarily eases pesky lines.
    2) Perk up your tired eyes by making them look more wide open by curling your lashes. Apply the eyelash curler as close to the base of your lashes as possible, squeeze closed to curl and hold for five seconds. If you’re too tired to curl your lashes, apply a curling mascara instead.
    3) Apply a wash of a lavender eye shadow; this pretty shade helps to open up and brighten the eyes. Further emphasize the inner corner of your eyes with an iridescent highlighter to add a glint of shimmer.
    4) Apply a washcloth soaked in cold water to your face for 10 minutes; the cool compress constricts blood vessels.

  23. By just reading this question, the first thought that comes up in my mind is that My skin is stylish when it is healthy 🙂

Glowing, vibrant, smooth, soft, radiant – These are the traits which will define my stylish skin in a better way. Our skin is our largest accessory and If you want to have a beautiful luxury Skin then the skin care is one of very important step.

A proper Skin regime which includes the following stages
Exfoliate – Cleanse- Tone- Moisturize- Protect
For me while talking about skin is not just my face but the whole body so this is how I keep my whole skin stylish. I wish if you get benefited from it –

Face – I follow the healthy routine and always apply a night cream before going to bed. Tend to not touch my face many times as it irritates the skin and harm the cells. To Get a makeup routine for face, I prefer quality products and yes .. Lakme is one of them !

For a quick reference- i used LAKME FLAWLESS MATTE COMPLEXION COMPACT,Lakme Eyeconic Kajal and curling mascara to look stylish with Red Coat LAKME 9 TO 5 MATTE LIP COLOR which can give me the whole complete look and add the touch of glamour instantly to my Style.

I am quite admiring the skin stylist which is Lakme CC as it is solving my beauty worries and proved to be an instant solution.

Neck and Chest zone- To cure the Sun exposure and environmental effects, I apply the same care and products to this zone so that I don’t get discoloured and rough skin. For better results, use baby oils too.

    Hands & Arms-
I keep my skin stylish that means healthy, by using an exfoliating body wash and body lotion. Believe me it saves me from uneven skin. Moisturizing and protecting the hands is my style mantra when it comes to styling the skin.

    Legs & Feet-
A pedicure for foot is a must to save them from the effects of foot wears and to get a perfect skin which is smooth, regular moisturized is the key. I have a foot cream which I love to love my skin.

  25. How do I style my skin?
I do it in two ways.
One being internal health and the other is by using makeup.

I drink loads of water and live on fruits and vegetables. They clean up my body and gives that fresh glow every day. I have oily skin which means my skin needs that extra care without making it dry. I massage my skin with olive oil once a week and apply a face pack made of oats and honey, lemon which keeps it refreshed.

Coming to makeup, I keep it minimal.
I style my face by applying a bb cream, kajal and a lipstick.
Depending on my go to destination, the lipstick colour changes or lip gloss will be added.

    This is a cool contest.
Would loove to try out some new looks with the kits(just in case, if i win :-D)

  26. 3 tips for instant skin styling
    1) scrub face for the glow
    2) apply light moisturizer followed by foundation, compact, blush and bronzer

and you are done to rock!
finally carry a smile for the best sensual look!

  27. Hello,
My Skin Styling secret during Monsoon is regular cleansing, Toning and Moisturing for which I am using Lakme CC Cream.
For Instant brightness I massage my face with mashed papaya mixed with honey .. Or I just apply fresh cream, kesar n honey mix..
To remove blackheads, I first wash my face and take steam fter which I scrub my face n use blackhead remover…
    Name- Veena Vinyas..
    Mial id- veena.cm@hotmail.com

  28. I swear on fresh fruits masks. I go seasonal.

Styling #1) Papayas are always available throughout the year. I take a ripe one, take a slice of it, mash it, add a tablespoon of curds, a tablespoon of honey, mix it well and apply it on face, neck and arms. I wash it with warm water after 10 mins. Clear Skin is all mine.

Styling #2) A mix of egg whites and honey and apply on the face. Egg helps in tightening the skin and honey moisturizes it. In total, a clean and glowing face

Styling #3) The humble potatoes. They not only enhance the taste of a curry but also enhances ones beauty. Peel off the skin, make juice of potato, apply it on face and arms. And feel fresh after washing it.

  29. Skin texture varies from person to person and hence styling varies too. I do the following:

What goes into the body, is reflected on the body too. So,

Tip 1) Eat healthy. Live Healthy. Eat anything, but compensate it too. If food with lot of oil, ghee, butter is taken, then make sure that lot of lassi is taken too. That balances both. Not to mention, intake of curds in any form, raita or plain, is a perfect balancing food. Top it with sprouts, dry fruits, chopped fresh fruits anything that is of one’s interest. Inner Beauty is Outer Beauty.

Tip 2) Grandma’s nuske like, wiping off make up with mineral oil/rose water/raw milk or besan+curd+fresh rose water+honey mix on the face or fullers earth with raw milk/fresh rose water or applying honey on the face or applying paste of almonds soaked overnight or applying fresh milk/curd cream overnight or application of aloevera gel on face and arms… the list goes on and on and on

Tip 3) Wearing appropriate make up and most importantly an appropriate way to remove the same. Never ever sleep with make up on the face. Even if it is simple kajal. I try to use smudge proof, water proof mascara and kajal. The compact that I use matches with my skin tone. I try out a lot of lip shades, matte or glitter. Ofcourse with a matching lip liner. I remove eye make up with branded eye-make up remover and clean my face with branded make-up removers. I either use a besan or branded face wash to clean my face and instantly apply branded moisturizer. This way I ensure that there is no trace of makeup left on my face. If tiem permits, I make a juice of raw potato and apply it onto my arms and legs(esp feet). Instant tan removal. While sleeping, I dab a few drops of rose water onto cotton pads and place it on my eyes. Nothing else relaxes those tired eyes.

  30. i have oily skin so a proper CTM is a must for me.before going out i use a bb cream follow up by a compact (lakmeperfect radiance) and lakme kajal on my waterline and a lip balm on my lips and m good to go.lots of water weekly skin care (scrub and face packs)that is the way i style my skin.

  31. Hey, I discovered your internet-site by using Yahoo all the while buying equivalent topic, your internet site came upward, it appears to be to generally be very good. We’ve combined with our favorites|added to this social bookmarks.

  32. 1. Primer and Translucent Smoothing Powder – I use a Primer for a smooth base that will help the makeup last and will hide wrinkles and refine pores. Don’t smother the face in foundation to get a uniform skin tone. Just do a light layer, then dust on a translucent powder that hides imperfections with reflective micro-particles.

    2. Healing Concealer – Covering zits with heavy concealer will only make breakouts worse. Look for an oil-free formula with salicylic acid that treats blemishes while hiding them.

    3. Dark-Circle Fix – Dark circles make us look tired and older and nearly everyone gets them. Using an Eye Cream (My favorite is Olay Definity Illuminating Eye Treatment) instantly brightens the under-eye area with mica particles and strengthens the delicate skin with powerful hydrators.

  33. Pratibha Sharma

Being a college student, when it comes to styling my skin, I like to keep it simple yet try and add some bold colours wherever I can.
I start off with my Aveda inner light tinted moisturiser with SPF 15. Absolutely the best during this scorching heat. Even though it doesn’t say its waterproof..it stayed by my side(face) during the monsoons.
Then I line my upper eyelid with a hyperglossy runway liner from maybelline -for that bold touch I was talking about. After which I follow up with a waterproof mascara or They’re Real from benefit..should that even be called a mascara? its way better than that <3 Last but not the least cherry me from the maybelline babylips line goes right on my lips or the 14 hour lipstick in everlasting rose from maybelline if my eyeliner is not something as bold as the hyperglossy.
Hope you like it Hina 🙂

  34. 1. A Proper CTM every morning before going out for College.
2.Lots of TLC for the skin by taking in fresh fruits and veggies in the form of Salads, adequate amount of water.
3.Coming to Makeup-I love using Maybelline BB stick on my Skin.It gives me a no make up yet fresh 8 hour sleep look.
